Deals are flowing at BDO
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP in Birmingham has advised AIM-listed APC Technology Group plc on the sale of its specialist water hygiene business to South Staffordshire plc.
BDO’s Birmingham-based facilities management team has completed several transactions in the sector. Heading up the BDO team, Satvir Bungar says the appetite for M&A activity in the facilities management sector remains strong despite Brexit uncertainty.
BDO’s latest deal sees APC Technology Group dispose of Green Compliance Water Division Limited, to South Staffordshire plc.
South Staffordshire plc, which comprises of South Staffs Water and Cambridge Water, serves the West Midlands, South Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, North Warwickshire and North Worcestershire areas.
This disposal follows a review by the Board of APC to focus efforts on the growth of its high reliability components, smartwave connected products and systems, and energy efficient lighting distribution businesses.
